Seminar series I’m chairing in London, Autumn 2012 – Life Writing: Borderlands Between Fact and Fiction – So far they’ve been fascinating – the first involved Adam Foulds and Robert Fraser; the second – Rachel Cusk and Nigel Warburton. I talked about The Book of Guardians at the recent Great Writing conference at Imperial College London – and will be elaborating on the presentation in an article for a forthcoming edition of New Writing.
Was hoping that copies of the novel would be ready to at least have on the bookstall at – Wasafiri’s Poetry Parnassus event in Cambridge in July, but sadly not only was the book not quite ready but I also got food poisoning (not serious) the night before and was unable to attend. I heard it was a great night though.
